I currently work as the programming team leader at The IDEA Center in Manhattan Kansas. The IDEA Center is a nonprofit organization supporting the assessment and improvement of teaching, learning, and administrative performance with clients across the nation. My job is to design, develop, and maintain a system to handle all of the processing at the center. The system includes a web application, multi-threaded Java server, multiple MySQL 5 databases, and a variety of client side Java swing based graphical user interfaces. |
| I graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Computer Science in December 2002. I’ve attended the 2005-2008 JavaOne conferences in San Francisco, in 2006 I completed a one week "MySQL 5.0 for Developers" course in Washington DC, and I've attended the 2007 and 2008 MySQL conference in Santa Clara CA. I also have my MySQL 5.0 Developer certification. |

I have also worked with C/C++, PHP, NetBeans, Oracle, and MS Access in the past. |
